York's Seaway Trail offers a 454 mile driving route along Lake
Erie, the Niagara River, Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.
The scenic, well-marked route offers an alternative to the New
York State Thruway and Interstate 81 and is a network of state
and local highways safe for bicycling. A first-class destination,
the Seaway Trail's 730 kilometer route is the nation's longest
National Recreational Trail. See Maps & Books section
for info on ordering the Seaway Trail Bicycling guidebook.
