Adirondack Ride for
Habitat

Purpose:
Adirondack Habitat for Humanity is organizing this
3-day ride to raise funds for and awareness of their work, a
dedication to building homes and building lives together with
families in the tri-lakes region. All riders are welcome, but each
will be required to raise a minimum of $250 from sponsors (friends,
family, churches, co-workers, etc.) as a donation to Adirondack
Habitat for Humanity. The ride will be supported and overnight
accomodations will be provided (churches, schools, etc.) as well as
food/meals over the 3 days. Registrations cost is $25 and tour cost
for the 4 days
is
$100, these costs in addition to the
required $250 donation.
Notes: 150-mile
supported
tour over
3 days
with additional side trips available for interested riders. Road/Touring/Mountain/Hybrid Bikes. Difficulty
level: intermediate and
above, with significant elevation change.
Route:
Starts and ends in Saranac Lake, exact
location to be announced. Day 1: Saranac Lake to Wilmintong. Day 2: Wilmington to
Lake Placid via Jay and Keene. Day 3: Lake Placid to
Saranac Lake via Wilmington and Bloomingdale.
