WHY:          To celebrate the opening of the Mountain Biking Trail System in

                             Speculator.  More trails to be established for next year!

 

WHAT:          12 Noon Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Celebrate the Official Opening of the new Mountain

  Bike Trails - Ribbon Cutting Presentation by Lake

                    12:30          Bicycle Safety Clinic

                                       NY State Police demonstrate bicycle safety for

                                        children 6 years and older. Children must wear helmets!

 

1:00             Guided Mountain Bike Trail Tours

                     Ride the new trail system!  (“Fat” tires recommended)         

Easiest:  Tour to Kunjamunk Cave

Moderate: 7 mile ride

More Difficult / Faster Ride: 12 mile loop

 

                    Bar-b-cue celebration at the Pavilion starting at 12:30

                                                FREE food and beverage for all!
